With the carpet season upon us, and summer weather waning, I believe it is time to call an end to our 2008 outdoor season. I have consulted with active club members and our contact at IBEW local 48 regarding this decision. Ending on a strong note, rather than struggling to put on a last race, really is best for all involved.

I have enjoyed working for the club this season and look forward to planning our 2009 calendar.
